Nice to meet you…

Hey there! I'm Dean, a passionate cinematic wedding videographer based in Hertfordshire, England.

Capturing weddings brings me immense joy. Each wedding is a unique love story, and I take great pride in creating films that are romantic, moving, and as unique as you both are. I think it’s probably an inbuilt part of my being, with my family having close connections to Sir Elton John, and being brought up on his music from birth, love and music, to me, naturally just go hand in hand.

My goal is to capture the best moments of your entire day and wrap them up in a film that you can cherish forever. I would be honoured to be a part of your special day, observing rather than participating, using the latest high-end equipment to ensure that every detail is captured in the best way possible. My signature cinematography style is smooth, emotive, and cinematic, with unique, tried and tested colour grading and editing techniques. Drawing inspiration from my work as a music video and documentary filmmaker for renowned bands like McFly and The Vamps, I think I bring a fresh perspective to wedding videography.

Let's create something magical together!

I don’t even have words to say thank you properly enough - that video was so perfect and worth ever penny Dean, I am so grateful you popped up that day when I started looking 🥰 everything was perfect - the music, the cut, the lighting - I am so beyond happy 🥰 thank you for giving me this memory forever 😁

Afterward, I'll spend my time editing and creating a meaningful piece of art for you to fall in love with and cherish for years to come.

My Music Video Showreel…

Not a wedding in sight here but I hope you enjoy my music cinematography reel, mostly from work I have produced on videos I have Directed or from travelling across the globe documenting the life of bands I ‘work’ with…

Some Facts About Me…

  • I come from a very sporty background. My dad was a professional footballer, my grandad was a professional footballer, my uncle and auntie have both won Olympic/Commonwealth Games medals in their respective athletic events, and my cousin played for Great Britain in the Davis Cup. So, what did I do? Well, I tried football, and I was at Watford FC as a youth, but I chose golf, that was my other, well, my greater love. I played professionally for a few years before realizing that the cost versus the money I made didn't add up, I was good, just not quite good enough!

  • My dad played football at Watford FC during the Elton John era. Elton's deep love for the club meant that we, as a family, became friends with him and regularly spent time at events that Elton organized for the players and their families. This upbringing created a strong connection to music for me, and it's not surprising that I ended up working in the music industry. I have spent years collaborating with bands and artists, documenting their world tours, writing and recording albums, and everything else in between. This experience brings a unique perspective to how I film and edit weddings, and it's an additional tool in my camera bag that most people don't have.

  • My music videos and documentaries can be found all over YouTube, playing on the channels of many of the UK's top bands and artists, accumulating millions of views. I have produced, directed, filmed, and edited films that have been released on DVD. One of my films, 'On Tour With The Vamps', was even screened at a cinema in London. It was quite surreal to sit at the back and watch it! Additionally, I had the opportunity to direct a music video for the animated film 'Early Man' produced by Studio Canal. It was a very cool experience working with the film's team, including the editors and the colour grading team.

  • This one was nice to tell my Mum! I was asked by Studio Canal to direct a music video for the motion picture Early Man, walking the red carpet was almost as cool as making the video and working with their team in the process. You can see the music video here.

  • If your childhood shapes you as an Adult then experiences must come a close second. I've been lucky enough to travel the world, literally, on world tours with bands for the past two decades. Experiences i'll never forget and I feel lucky that my job is to capture those times and create memories. Those experiences have helped me grow and develop my skills as a cinematographer as well as shape me as a person.
